Research!!!!!
It is hard to plan a journey without a good idea of where you are going and what you want to see.
Start by collecting items, images and ideas that interest you.
You don't need to focus on your idea right now, rather gather sources related to what floats your boat.
Specifically collect:
Artists that Inspire you
Styles that intrigue you (how did they do it?)
Subjects that speak to you
Items that spark your Curiosity
Sights, sounds, images from your own life or memories
Remember that you can use music, films, books and art in your research.
By the end of the class period you should have at least 50 sources, images, and ideas.
Sources can be recorded digitally such as a pinterest board, google doc or social media (Tumblr)
Alternatively you can work in your sketchbook, paste, collage, clip and print.
